    YouTube video: best display dimensions

This video is displayed at the size of the original uploaded video, rather than scaled up by YouTube. the music score looks clearer, to my mind (!) vbut which do you prefer?

The poll is in the left column - feel free to vote :)

    Introduction

    Planet BlogSphere introduction

There are many aspects of the internet that aren’t good – the consumerism, spam and plain rubbish. But it is the first and only democratic publishing platform that ordinary people have access to.

As those individuals and institutions possessing the most power are the least capable of self-examination, the notion of solving problems by conventional (or any) political means seems increasingly naive.

If you care about this, please contribute to this blog and we’ll get as many visitors as possible, and raise the possibility of influencing the world by supporting those islands of sanity that do exist.

The blog was introduced by a fairly wacky story, and the domain name was (nearly) free following a change of web hosts. At the time I couldn’t see any need for it, but trusted that a positive idea would turn up sooner or later. This is it.

The development of this site depends to some extent on feedback and contributions, and new categories can be easily added.

The latest posts in each section should show in the feeds at the bottom of the page :)

    Douchebag photo album

A childhood photo of myself and east wing second floor butler Felton. I had just finished my cello lesson and Felton took me for a walk around the estate grounds before tea. An umbrella is needed because the Douchebag skin is most delicate. Even though it was an overcast day my skin might have developed a tint.

    My dear mother--Euthanasia Windsor Douchebag

Ah, these photos bring back fond memories. Christmas time. Father and mumsy would be on a holiday cruise as usual. I would watch while the servants unwrapped the gifts Mumsy left for me. They would then be displayed. I wasn't allowed to touch them of course. Much too expensive. Then we'd invite common children to sing carols in the north foyer. Afterward I'd reward them with cookies left over from the previous Christmas.

On New Years Day Mumsy would phone me from their holiday villa. I would then amuse myself by spiking the servant's holiday punch with pills I'd find in the medicine cabinet. Such fun watching them stagger about!

The next month was my birthday. Mumsy would send me a telegram from their home in north Hampton. Reminding me of the horrible pain childbirth caused her. I would then send a reply offering my apology, as was the yearly custom.

Yes, those were the days. Perhaps I'll write more of my recollections one day. The Japanese language lessons from Mr. Origami, playing with my wolfhound Mr. Skittles, attending the spring ball with Lady Pumpright........
